Should I go to DoctorsNow or the emergency room?

DoctorsNow cares for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. If you’re having a true medical emergency, call 911.

If your condition is less serious but still requires immediate attention, however, a visit to DoctorsNow can save you time and money. When you go to the ER for a minor illness or injury, you might wait for several hours and pay considerably more, even with insurance.

Amputations or severe lacerations	Coughs, colds and flu
Obvious large-bone fractures	Sore throats
Eye trauma	Ear and sinus infections
Alcohol or drug overdose	Seasonal allergies
Serious burns	Minor cuts
Coughing up or vomiting blood	Bumps and bruises
Pregnancy—abdominal pain or bleeding	Sprains, strains and pains
Seizures or convulsions	Minor burns
Suicide attempt	Pink eye
Suspected heart attack or stroke	Ear aches

Does DoctorsNow take my insurance?

Your visit to DoctorsNow works just like a visit to your regular doctor. We’re covered by the large majority of insurance plans, and you can pay in whatever form you prefer— insurance, credit/debit card, check or cash. Payment is expected at the time of your visit.

Weekdays: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 6:00 p.m.
